As a Clinical Health Psychologist, Dr. Kaloi-Chen adopts a biopsychosocial framework, considering not only psychological factors, but also biological and sociocultural factors that impact health and wellness.
Dr. Kaloi-Chen holds a doctoral degree (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology and was the recipient of the “Award for Excellence in Clinical Work” of her doctoral class. She has also obtained her Master of Arts (M.A.) in Psychology from Pepperdine University & her Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) from Santa Clara University.
Most recently, she obtained her Post-doctoral Masters of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Psychopharmacology at the University of Hawaii at Hilo in 2014 during her Post-Doctoral Clinical Health Psychology Fellowship at Tripler Army Medical Center.
